There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

It has been a huge year in sport for many students at Dunoon. We have had students compete at district, zone and regional levels for swimming, athletics and cross country. We have also had teams represent our small school cohort in PSSA sports such as soccer and cricket. Dunoon students are enthusiastic and encouraging to all participants both on and off the field, no matter what the end result.

We recently unveiled and celebrated our newest addition to the Dunoon Public School grounds - our beautiful echidna (yet to be named), kindly sculpted and donated by one of our wonderful family's.

"Going beyond a typical manicured playground, our living sculpture reminds us all that a wilder, more biodiverse landscape is possible within out school yard, and that learning and playing in a space shared with nature is both achievable and safe." Mrs. Currie, 4/5/6 classroom teacher.

Our class assemblies have been a hit this year, showcasing the multitude of students' skills and knowledge in very creative ways. We have had great turnouts from parents, grandparents, and other family members, and we hope to make next year's assemblies even bigger and better!
